Elaine was born in 1967 in Bangor, North Wales and brought up in
Stoke-on-Trent, England. She started writing poetry at the age of 10
when she discovered the work of Pam Ayres of whom she remains a big fan.
This collection brings together Elaine's experiences over the last 7
years and is heavily influenced through raising her three daughters.

poems including the April 2011 winning entry "Tiger".
