On the home front, Ann has moved into Keeper's Cottage and taken a Sergeant's post in York - and people are asking Mike what it's like to be a kept man. Mike Pannett was born in York, and joined the Metropolitan Police in 1988. He transferred to North Yorkshire police in 1997 and now lives in a village in the shadow of the North Yorkshire moors.
