website and wishing she had the guts to be like that, to demand what she
wanted from life - and get it. The poems, the incantations on the site,
surely they were just a joke but she recited them anyway - and brought
the vibrant, demanding vampire, Empusa, into her life. From then on
nothing in Drew's life is the same. She is tipped into a world where
vampirism, BDSM and blood are a way of life. She has power over people,
including her step-mother, power she does not fully understand or
appreciate. But it takes her to some strange places, not all in this
time or space, where she can take out her anger on men and other women.
It will take a lot to get Drew back 'normality' - if it ever happens!
