Book description

Sophie is so excited when her parents agree that they can choose a new puppy from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home as a friend for their Labrador, Morris!

Cute Border collie puppy Daisy is terrified of Morris at first, but soon follows him around like his shadow, fetching his favourite toy and letting him eat the food in her bowl at dinner-time! When Morris goes missing after hurting himself in the woods, can loyal little Daisy lead the family to him?

Contains LOADS of information about Battersea Dogs & Cats Home - including how to adopt your very own dog or cat, dos and don'ts of looking after them, and fun pet-themed puzzles!

Featuring a photo and fact-file of a real-life dog from Battersea!

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity that aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when we can't do this, we care for them until new homes can be found for them; and we educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Every year the Home takes in around 12,000 dogs and cats. In addition to the site in south-west London, the Home also has two other centres based at Old Windsor, Berkshire, and Brands Hatch, Kent.
