The chicks don't want to go to bed. They're sure there's a party somewhere, and they're determined to find it. Francesca Simon spent her childhood on the beach in California and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her English husband, Martin, and their son, Joshua. When she is not writing books she is doing theatre and restaurant reviews or chasing after her Tibetan Spaniel, Shanti. Emily Bolam trained at Brighton Art College and is a very successful illustrator of children's books, among them Francesca Simon's MIAOW MIAOW, BOW WOW and Georgie Adams's THE THREE LITTLE WITCHES (both Orion). She lives and works in Brighton.
