Council. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a double major
in English and History, and a minor in economics., and went on to have
at least four careers. When my children were small, I satisfied my need
for writing by working for weekly newspapers. I had a wild and wacky
time managing rock and roll bands. I joined the insanity of retail with
a string of shoe stores. I worked in fundraising, public affairs and
community relations. But writing fiction was always my dream. I had a
lot of stops and starts, but it wasn't until we retired that I could
devote myself to it full time. My wonderful husband, David, encourages
me and supports me in my dream. Our children are all grown and on their
own, and are my biggest fans. When I'm not writing I'm an avid reader -
anything and everything - and watching football, especially my beloved
Michigan Wolverines. David and I golf and target shoot., and of course
enjoy life in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country, where most of my stories
are based. I am a member of Romance Writers of America, and San Antonio
Romance Authors, Diamond State Romance Authors, and Passionate Ink
chapter of RWA. Kris sees herself as somewhat obsessive and feels she
tends to push the boundaries of common sense sometimes. Her friends
graciously see her as passionate and adventurous. After all, speed
limits are only a guideline and shouting is just her way of rising above
the chaos. Kris loves the outdoors. If she's not on her computer- or
chasing after her three kids- she's out on a trail somewhere, either
running with her dog or riding her mountain bike. Kris took up adventure
racing a few years ago, and tries to enter one or two races every year.
Kris started writing some years back, and it took her a while to realize
she wasn't destined for the padded room, and the voices chattering away
in her head were really other characters trying to take shape. (And
since they weren't telling her to conquer the human race, she went with
it.) Kris loves writing erotic novels. She loves heroines who kick butt,
heroes who are larger than life, and sizzling sex scenes that make you
squirm in your seat, and leave you feeling just a bit breathless. When
it comes to books and movies, Brynn Paulin has one rule: there must be a
happy ending. After that one requirement, anything else goes. And it
just might in any of her books. Brynn lives in Michigan with her husband
and two children, who love her despite her occasional threats to smite
them. They humour her and let her think she's a goddess...as long as she
provides homemade chocolate chip cookies on a regular basis. Brynn is
president of her local chapter of Romance Writers of America and also
hosts a weekly writing critique group. She's conducted workshops at
several writers' conferences around the country as she enjoys mentoring
and meeting new people. According to Brynn, her writing success can be
attributed to 70's music, her local road construction crews, a trusty

Mr. Inspiration. Charlotte Stein has been published in numerous erotic
and erotic romance anthologies, and has written her own longer length
works for both Black Lace books and Total-E-Bound. She has been writing
for more than half her life, but only recently worked up the courage to
submit something to actual publishers. Thankfully, the story ended well.
