Personality of the Year and earned the Laureus Lifetime Achievement
Award. Sir Steve is heavily involved in a number of commercial and
charitable initiatives, including the Steve Redgrave Fund, which helps
improve and enhance the quality of young people's lives. He was a
founding member of the successful London 2012 bid. He was Knighted in
2001.
