Rangers have won 53 League Championships, more than any other club in the world. They have won the Scottish League Cup 26 times -- more than any other Scottish club -- and the Scottish Cup 33 times. In 1961 Rangers reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, becoming the first British club to reach the final of a UEFA club competition. They won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1972, having been the runners-up in 1961 and 1967, and were runners-up in the 2008 UEFA Cup Final. Ronnie Esplin is a football writer, author and sports reporter with Press Association Sport in Glasgow. His first book was 'Down the Copland Road' before co-authoring 'Barcelona Here We Come' and 'The Advocaat Years' with Alex Anderson, he also wrote 'Totally Frank', the story of former Celtic striker Frank McGarvey. He edited '10 Days That Shook Rangers' and co-edited 'It's Rangers For Me?' and 'Rangers: Triumphs, Troubles and Traditions' with Graham Walker. Graham Walker has followed Rangers since the early 1960s and has co-edited two previous books about the club. He has also written several books on modern Scottish and Irish history and politics. .
