Let down by her travelling companion at short notice, Nadia Kapur

wrestle with her own inhibitions and repressed desires. The landscape
and the people ultimately work their transforming magic on both mother
and daughter, causing Valerie to think again about her ex-husband and
tempting Nadia with the possiblity of true love.
Manchester-based writer Carrie Williams travels widely as a reviewer
of hotels, restaurants and bars. She began writing for Black

progressing to novels.
