Book description
Lady Jane Derwent faced formidable odds as she set out to win the
furious coach race to Brighton. She had to defeat the famous team and
the infamous tricks of the ruthless king of the road, Edward
Chapman.
She had to best the finest entry that her sport-besotted
brother Henry could buy with his wealth. And she had to prove to Lord
Lewis Ardenley -- who had flagrantly betrayed her with a beauteous new
darling -- that he was wrong in rating Jane as too frail either to
stay the course or stand off his advances.
Lady Jane knew how
hard it would be to win, and how easy it would be to lose so much --
especially her heart...
