Biographies
Gwyneth Rees is half Welsh and half English and grew up in
Scotland. She is the author of the best-selling FAIRY series,
comprising FAIRY DUST, FAIRY TREASURE, FAIRY DREAMS and FAIRY GOLD, as
well as THE MUM HUNT (which won the Young Novel Category of the Red
House Children's Book Award 2004) and its sequel THE MUM DETECTIVE.
THE MUM SURPRISE was selected as a 2006 World Book Day title. Her
other books include MERMAID MAGIC, MY MUM'S FROM PLANET PLUTO and THE
MAKING OF MAY. She lives in West London (with her two cats).
